Login & Account

How do I register?

You can register via the Register now link on the login page. If you have received an invitation code from your daycare, enter it during registration -- your child will be automatically linked. See Registration.

I forgot my password. What can I do?

Contact your daycare management or administrator. They can reset your account so that you can set a new password.

I did not receive an activation email.

  1. Check your spam folder
  2. Wait a few minutes
  3. If the email does not arrive, contact your daycare management

How do I change my email address?

  1. Click on the gear icon in the top right
  2. Select Settings
  3. Click Change Email
  4. Enter your new email address
  5. You will receive a confirmation email at the new address -- click the link in it

How do I change my password?

See Change Password. Your password must be at least 10 characters long.

Why do I have to wait for approval after logging in?

Depending on the facility setup, your registration must first be approved by the daycare management. Contact your daycare if you have questions.

Absences

What is the deadline for reporting an absence?

This depends on your daycare's settings. There is a deadline after which a report for the same day is no longer possible. Report absences as early as possible.

Can I report an absence for multiple days?

Yes, select a start and end date in the form.

What absence types are available?

  • Illness
  • Vacation
  • Other

How do I withdraw an absence?

Open the Absence History in the sidebar menu and click Withdraw on the upcoming report.

Can I edit an active absence?

You can change the end date and type, but the start date of an already active absence can no longer be changed.

Messages & Parent Letters

What is the difference between messages, parent letters, and news?

  • Messages: Direct communications from employees to the parents of a specific child
  • Parent Letters: Official letters to all parents of a group or location, with response options (surveys, polls, tables)
  • News: General announcements for a group, location, or the entire daycare

How do I receive notifications about new content?

You can enable email notifications in the settings (gear icon > Settings). Red badges in the header indicate unread content.

Can I reply to messages?

Only if the message has the type "Reply possible" or "Reply required". Informal messages do not allow replies.

I missed the deadline for a parent letter. What can I do?

Contact your daycare management directly.

Roles & Access

What roles exist?

Parents, Employees, Group Leaders, Location Leaders, and Administrators. Details under System Roles.

Can I have multiple roles?

Yes. It is common for someone to be both a parent and an employee. In the app, you can switch between roles using a button in the header.

Why can't I see certain features?

You may not have the required role. Contact your daycare management.

Language

Can I switch the language?

Yes, the app is available in German and English. Use the language selector in the top right of the header.

Technical Issues

The app won't load. What can I do?

  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Refresh the page (F5 or Ctrl+Shift+R)
  3. Clear the browser cache
  4. Try a different browser

The app doesn't work properly on my smartphone.

  1. Make sure you are using a modern browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
  2. Update your browser to the latest version
  3. Try opening the page in private/incognito mode
