Generate Invitation Codes

This guide explains how to generate invitation codes for new parents.

What are Invitation Codes?

Invitation codes make it easier for new parents to register. When a parent registers with an invitation code, the child is automatically linked to the parent's account.

Create Individual Invitation Code

You can create an invitation code directly via the child detail page:

1. Open the children overview
2. Click on a child
3. Click Generate invitation code
4. Select the relationship type (mother, father, grandmother, etc.)
5. Click Create

The generated code can be:

• Copied to clipboard and shared
• Printed as a QR code
• Revoked if no longer needed

Create Bulk Invitation Codes

To create codes for multiple children at once, use the bulk creation:

1. Click on the gear icon in the top right
2. Select Bulk Invitations

Generate Codes

1. Select the relationship type (father, mother, grandparents, etc.)
2. Select the children (click individually or select/deselect all)
3. Click Create codes

Print Codes

After creation, you can open the invitations as a printable page:

1. Click Print
2. A print view opens with all generated codes including QR codes
3. Print the page and distribute the invitations to parents

Tip

The print view contains a separate section for each child with QR code and registration link that you can cut out and distribute.

Manage Existing Codes

Already created codes can be viewed and revoked if needed. Revoke a code if it is no longer needed or was created by mistake.
