Read Messages

This guide explains how to read and reply to messages from employees at your daycare.

Message Types

Messages from employees have different types:

Type Meaning
Informal For your information, no reply needed
Reply possible You can reply, but don't have to
Reply required A reply is expected (with deadline)

Open Messages

1. Access Messages

Click on Messages in the sidebar menu or on the messages icon in the header. A red badge shows the number of unread messages.

2. Read Message

The message list shows for each message:

  • Subject
  • Sender (name of the employee)
  • Type badge: Informal, Reply possible, or Reply required
  • Deadline (if a reply is required)
  • Send date

You can filter by child to see only messages for a specific child.

3. Reply to a Message

If the message expects or allows a reply:

  1. Open the message
  2. Enter your reply in the text field
  3. Click Submit

Attachments

If a message contains attachments (e.g., PDF files or images):

  1. Scroll to the attachment section of the message
  2. Click on the file name to download or view the attachment

Email Notifications

You can receive email notifications about new messages. This setting can be found under:

  1. Click on the gear icon in the top right
  2. Select Settings
  3. Enable or disable Notify by email about new content
  4. Click Save
